Research and teaching intertwine in my linguistic life. Teaching allows me to put my research ideas into action, and my research allows me to step back and ponder what and how I teach. I am interested in what people think about language. I want to know what they think about the writing they create in a multimodal environment. Getting their ideas gives me a chance to analyze them and apply them in my own classrooms.
